Addresses can be submitted for physical verification using either the API or the Dojah dashboard.
1. Using the API
Upon verification, the results can be retrieved using
this API.
Addresses submitted via the API also reflect on the dashboard.
2. Using the Dojah dashboard.
Without any need for an integration, you can manually submit addresses for verification following the steps below:
a. Log in to your dashboard
here.
b. On the left side panel, navigate to Address verification under the Identity verification category (If you can not see this on your dashboard, please reach out to your client partner for activation)
c. On the address verification page, click on Submit address at the top right corner and go on to fill in all the details required.
There are 3 statuses for this service; Pending, Failed and Completed.
Pending - This means the verification has not been done.
Failed - This can mean any of the following:
- Incomplete address
- Valid address, customer unknown
- Invalid address
Completed - This means valid address and customer known
PDF reports are available for all addresses that are not pending via the dashboard.
